Like many supermarkets in the UK, Asda is faced with some empty shelves for the next couple of weeks due to issues with food supply chains. In a humorous take, the retailer is asking people to ‘romaine calm’ as it temporarily limits some of its salad items to three per customer.
The messaging then ends with: “But we’re working hard and are confident our ongoing efforts will soon bear fruit (and lots of it).”

The cheeky ad, which was penned by the agency’s creative duo Daze and Orla, has been tactically placed next to a story about turnips in British tabloid newspaper The Sun after a Tory MP encouraged people to eat more root vegetables instead.
God I love a half decent tactical. Nice one @DazeandOrla. pic.twitter.com/RYyr3KailW
